Proud of its history, Takwasa upkeep the chalets which were built by Italian prisoners of war during the second world war.
We offer the following accommodation:
Takwasa offers two beautiful self-catering units. The units sleeps 4 persons (single beds) each and has a kitchen equipped with all basic necessities, a private bathroom and a fireplace for cold winter nights. Braai facilities is also available.
Bedding is provided; please bring own towels.
Backpackers unit for smaller groups
This unit has two dorms (sleeping eight persons per room) with its own fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a lovely deck with braai facilities. Fitted sheets are provided; bring own bedding and towels.
The four duplex chalets have two rooms each, sleeping 12 persons per room. Each room has a basin in the dressing area. Fitted sheets are provided; bring own bedding and towels.
A larger dormitory, which sleeps 45 persons, is also available. Fitted sheets provided; bring own bedding and towels.
